Looking to get your fix of impressive motors and iconic car brands? It’s time to open up your calendar for some of the best motor shows in the UK in 2023.

The beauty of motor shows in the UK is that you don’t have to be a devout petrolhead to visit. Many of the events are family-friendly and are packed with exhibitions, talks and activities everyone will enjoy.

In addition, whether you’re into sports cars or vintage motors, there’s a show perfect for your auto tastes. So, to help fill your calendar this year with exciting exhibitions, we’ve picked our favourites that cater to all car lovers.

The London Classic Car Show, London

The London Classic Car Show is now in its ninth year and draws people in from far and wide. The mix of classic, vintage and antique autos on display is enough to whet the appetite of any motor enthusiast. Plus, if you are in the market for your own showpiece, the auction event adds another dimension to this incredible event.

In addition, 2023 is the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 911, so you’ll get a glimpse into the heritage and evolution of this iconic vehicle.

Dates: 24th - 26th February 2023

Offset Show, Wadebridge, Cornwall

Saturday kicks off the Offset Show in style with a huge party and fairground rides to enjoy. Sunday is when you’ll see all the car action with a range of vehicles in the main exhibition hall and outside paddock. Alongside your traditional four-wheeled favourites are military vehicles and fire safety demonstrations. There’s also trials bike riding and BMX stunt shows. The kids will love the family zone featuring bouncy fun and games. If that wasn’t enough, onsite barbers are available for a quick trim!

Billing Off Road Show, Northampton

For fans of muddy trails and going off the beaten track, taking a trip to the Billing Off Road Show is a great weekend away. This show brings offroad enthusiasts together for a mix of driving experiences, talks and exhibitors selling specialist 4x4 wares. There’s fun for the whole family with bouncy castles, go-karts and entertainment for the kids. You’re also in for a treat as the selection of food vendors brings you delights from around the world.

Goodwood Festival of Speed, West Sussex

Hailed as one of the greatest motorsport and car culture celebrations, the Goodwood Festival of Speed is not to be missed. The show takes place in the beautiful grounds of the Goodwood Estate and features the famous Hillclimb track, Supercar Paddock and F1 Pit Lane. So you never know – you might even meet your motorsport heroes.

The variety of cars here is perfect for all motor lovers. In addition, the action areas provide Forest Rally Stage fun and Off-Road Arena displays. There’s so much to see at this event that you’ll need the whole weekend to fit it in!

Beaulieu Supercar Weekend, The New Forest, Hampshire

For a glimpse into some of the more powerful and desirable supercars on the planet, a visit to Beaulieu Supercar Weekend is a must. This family-friendly event raises money for children’s charities and hosts a range of fun activities and displays. Of course, the Demonstration Run is always a highlight as tons of supercars get put through their paces on Beaulieu’s Chestnut Drive.

The British Motor Show, Farnborough, Hampshire

This huge weekend is back with a bang in 2023, and it’s said to have more cars, more entertainment and more fun than ever before. The British Motor Show is perfect for the whole family and features tons of cars, from classic autos to motorsport icons. Stunt shows and live arena displays are sure to bring the wow factor. In addition, you can try out your driving skills with a range of experiences on offer.

Dates: 17th – 20th August 2023

Gravity Show, NEC Birmingham

If modified cars are your thing, Gravity Show should be top of your motor show list. 2023 sees it move to a new venue at the NEC Birmingham, so it’s set to be even better than previous years, with more supercars, hypercars and modified gems over the bank holiday weekend. Alongside cars and bikes, there are hundreds of exhibitors and demos. Plus, there’s a Show & Shine event with awards for the best autos.

Salon Privé Classic & Supercar, Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire

In September, Blenheim Palace opens its lawns to the public with a massive display of supercars and hypercars alongside numerous classics at the Salon Prive event. There’s a chance to see them in action in the Salon Privé Hill Sprints. While you wander the impressive collection of over 1000 vehicles, live entertainment provides the perfect backdrop to a fantastic day out. With food and drink concessions scattered throughout the venue, so there’s no worry about grabbing a bite to eat either.

NEC Classic Motor Show, Birmingham

Love classic cars? Then this is the show for you! The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show at the NEC Birmingham is one of the largest gatherings of enthusiasts in the UK. Car and motorcycle clubs bring their classic vehicles to the event so you can admire some of the best autos on the road.
