Part of the ‘N’ performance division, the model boasts a dual-motor setup with 641bhp under the hood and the power to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 3.4 seconds. Innovative features like the N e-shift and a range of driving modes make it a dynamic and engaging electric vehicle. With a starting price of £65,000, it falls into the high-performance electric segment but is an exciting addition to the market nonetheless.

Citroen e-C3

Dacia Duster

A popular choice among British buyers, the third-generation Dacia Duster is highly anticipated in 2024. Maintaining its compact size, the new Duster is expected to share the CMF-B platform and launch with a range of petrol and diesel engine options. The possibility of an E-Tech hybrid system akin to the Renault Clio is intriguing and could offer even more flexibility when it comes to driving modes. Ford Explorer

Ford's foray into the electric SUV market is embodied by the all-new Explorer. Delayed to summer 2024 due to UN regulations, the Explorer offers multiple battery sizes, including a 168bhp rear-wheel drive variant and a powerful dual-motor model that caps out at 335bhp. Packed with features like a 15-inch infotainment screen, massaging seats and advanced safety technology, the Explorer is on track to steal hearts in the mid-size SUV segment.

Lotus Emeya

Lotus enters the hyper-GT segment with the Emeya, a four-door saloon loaded with all the power you’d expect from the luxury British brand. Sharing its platform with the Eletre SUV, the Emeya is the third EV from the company and packs a punch with a 102kWh battery, 893bhp of power and 985Nm of torque. MG Cyberster

Building on its recent success, MG ventures into the sports car arena with the Cyberster. Priced around £50,000, the single-motor will offer 309bhp while the range-topping dual-motor variant generates 536bhp. With scissor doors and futuristic displays, the Cyberster is an exciting addition to the electric sports car market in 2024.

Mercedes-AMG GT

Mercedes-AMG introduces the second generation of its GT sports car, now with a 2+2 seating configuration. Available with twin turbocharged V8 petrol engines, the AMG GT offers power ranging from 469bhp to 577bhp.
