The order books are now open for the all-new 2022 model year Skoda Karoq and we have all the information you could want and unbelievable prices to go with it. The Karoq is one of Leasing Options’ most popular models and a staff favourite. Like the old Karoq, this model is broken down into three trim levels including SE Drive, SE L and Sportline.
The Outside
On the exterior there is some very subtle changes and tweaks with this new facelift which make the Karoq look more refined and overall a lot smarter. On the front of the car the headlights have been slimmed down for a lower profile shape which complement the tweaked grill that’s received the same treatment. The rear lights have also had a slight redesign and they are a little shorter in height making them look a little more angular emphasising the spread Skoda lettering.
The biggest take from the exterior has to be the alloys that come as standard on each trim level, they’re all really nice! The three options are 17-inch Scutus Alloys on the SE Drive, 18-inch Miran Alloys on the SE L and 18 inch Procyon Alloys in all black on the Sportline.
The Inside
Inside the Karoq is where you will see the more noticeable upgrades from the previous model. It now comes with an 8-inch digital cockpit screen and a new modernised central infotainment system with 8.2-inch display. There is also an option for upgrading the virtual cockpit to a 10.25-inch screen.
One really interesting optional extra on the new Karoq is an eco-pack. This uses recycled and vegan friendly materials throughout the cabin including upholstery made from recycled PET bottles. Another great optional extra is an ambient lighting pack that can add a little something extra to the comfort of the cabin.
Engine Options
As mentioned there are three optional trim levels going from the SE Drive and then upgrading to the SE L and finally the Sportline. Throughout the various level of specification there are a number of engine and performance options you can chose. The petrol engines start at a 1.0L manual but can be upgraded to a 1.5L in manual or DSG automatic and they’re both topped by the 2.0L 4-wheel drive option which is only available in the Sportline trim. The Diesel options are all 2.0L but they come in either 150hp or 116hp. These are also available in manual or DSG Automatic and a 4-wheel drive options in the 150hp for the SE L and Sportline trims.
