➤ New top-spec Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti gets styling additions and sports suspension
Alfa Romeo has launched the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti, a direct replacement for the existing range-topping Milano Edizione model. Ti, an acronym for Turismo Internazionale, is a historic Alfa Romeo name that dates back to the 1950s, appearing on classic Alfa GT cars. The Stelvio Ti is available to order now.
New for the Stelvio Ti is the addition of carbon fibre exterior trim accents, sports suspension and extra tech. The carbon fibre V-shaped grille and door mirrors are complemented by dark Stelvio and Q4 badging, while red brake calipers and new 20-inch alloy wheels are specific to the Ti.
Inside, there’s a leather-clad dashboard and the Ti also gets soundproofing laminated glass, a hands-free tailgate, adaptive cruise control and ‘frequency selective damping’ which improves the Stelvio Ti’s handling while maintaining overall comfort. An active suspension system is available as an option.
The Stelvio Ti is available with a choice of a petrol or diesel engine. A 276hp 2.0-litre turbo petrol gets the car from 0-62mph in 5.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 143mph. The 207hp 2.2-litre diesel variant gets from 0-62mph in 6.6 seconds and has a top speed of 134mph. Both engines come as standard with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and Q4 all-wheel drive.
